The association was formed for the purpose of acquiring a new organ
instrument into the Roman Catholic Church of The Holy Trinity in Brno-Královo Pole. Association members
are volunteer singers and organists of the choir. The basic prerequisite for
membership is a passion for organ music and a willingness to sacrifice their
time for the project without salary requirements. The new organ will have the
technical parameters suitable for presenting organ music. Once operational,
the organ association will promote public organ concert activities in the Roman
Catholic Church of The Holy Trinity in Brno-Královo Pole.

Schedule of planned activities
By the end of 2011, the first promotion in the form of leaflets was to begin. Since then, we have been addressing potential donors through members of the association – private companies and entrepreneurs, charitable donations from parishioners and supporters of music in the city of Brno, the district Brno-Královo Pole, Ministry of Culture Czech Republic, and other providers of subsidies. In connection with the applicable legislation, we will only disclose donors if they give their explicit consent; an agreed range remains anonymous. For reasons of cost estimation and exploration of options, we have already processed the offer from 3 organ manufacturing companies. The required amount is approximately 25 million crowns. The choice of the contractor is discussed with the professional community under the guidance of the diocesan organologist Mag. Art. Ondřej Múčka. The selected proposal is currently in the approval process at the National Heritage Institute. We plan to sign the contract by the end of 2023. The duration of the organ-making process ranges from 1 year to 3 years; this time period will be used to select the remaining funds.
