We organize Josef Špaček's Benefit Concert in the concert hall of Brno Philharmonic Orchestra on February 4, 2015 at 19.30.
The Benefit concert will present a musical Špaček's family to promote the construction of the organ for Brno-Královo Pole.
Performed by:
- Josef Špaček – violin, the concert master of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
- Petr Špaček – violoncello, Prague Cello Quartet
- Josef Špaček st. – violoncello, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
- and younger family members (Jana Špačková – flute, piano and Jakub Spacek – piano, violin).
Concert with a similar program has already been given in Prague and had a great success. Family Špaček is interesting for its versatile musical activities at a very high level of quality. Josef Špaček is one of our best violinists. In his 25 years he became concert master of the Czech Philharmonic. In 2012 he won the World Violin Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels, which is considered by experts as the biggest and toughest competition in the world with the longest history (Josef is the first Czech violinist who fought his way in this competition to the final). The concert will connect Prague and Brno music world. For the Špaček family it is a certain „return home“ because they came to Prague from Brno.
Tickets are available online, at presale checkout of Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, but you can also book directly via email to rezervace@varhanyprokrpole.cz.
